Chapter 8: Closing Remarks

It has been a privilege to listen to you. To listen to your responses. To listen to your thoughts, feelings and comments. To listen to your silence.

It has not always been easy to hear your pain, your hurt, your confusion, your anger. But it has been important to hear it. We have also sometimes heard expressions of hope.

You have been in our prayers during this Consultation. You continue in our prayers as you read the Report and as you talk with one another about it.

The Council is in our prayers as they deliberate their response to the question they have been asked.

 
We pray for God’s presence and grace as you work out and live out your responses to that decision.
