As the roadmaps for lifting lockdown rules in England and Wales unfold, many churches have begun or are planning to hold in-person worship and other gatherings. To assist this, we will continue to update our specific guidance for Baptist churches on what needs to be done to reflect the developments in the law and government guidance.

Before Easter we asked the Government for clarification about use of church buildings for Bible studies as distinct from worship services.  We have been informed that the restriction on meeting for study groups in church buildings will be lifted on Monday 12 April.

There is a range of resources in the Coronavirus section of our website to help churches practically and spiritually during these uncertain times.

The Baptist Union Specialist Teams are now all working from home.
If you would like to speak to a member of the Specialist Teams, please call 01235 517700 and leave a message.
Alternatively please contact us by email.
