Regent's Park College

Regent’s is unique in the diversity of its community. We are part of Oxford University and our whole student body is made up of undergraduates, postgraduates and visiting students, as well as ministerial students, all taking advantage of the exceptional learning environment in Oxford. If you come here to study you will find yourself part of a wide and international community.

We offer much variety and flexibility in our patterns of ministerial formation. You can prepare for ministry either college-based or congregation-based, full-time, part-time, or bi-vocationally, with a focus on pastoral ministry, pioneer mission or chaplaincy. As part of your formation you can study for a diploma, degree, or a variety of postgraduate qualifications. There will be an important ecumenical dimension and Regent’s works in partnership with other colleges in Oxford preparing men and women for ministry, especially for the Anglican Church.

Regent’s is a place where all can flourish, whether you have high academic aspirations or are somewhat nervous about returning to study after a significant break. Many people have come over the years and have been supported to succeed in study in a way they never thought was possible. Regent’s also works with the surrounding Baptist associations to deliver a wide variety of life-long learning programmes. The Angus Library, one of the most important collections of Baptist history, is housed at Regent’s and attracts visitors from around the world.
