Launch of Wonderful Youth 2022
We will be launching Wonderful Youth soon and a recording of the launch event will be available here at the beginning of December.
What does climate justice mean to you?
is a series of resources first created in 2018, with biblical sessions to empower young people between the ages of 13 and 16 to become ‘the best that you can be’. Even though there is a vast number of resources on the Christian market to enable young people to reflect on their Christian faith, few (if any) intentionally enable Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnics to see their image reflected in the resources.
The latest edition of Wonderful Youth
has been written by contributors from Six Ways Baptist Church, Birmingham, John Bunyan Baptist Church, Oxford and Christian Aid. It considers the impact of climate change on Black and Brown communities. With the support of Christian Aid it also recommends how climate injustice can be mitigated.
Join Wale Hudson-Roberts (Baptists Together Justice Enabler), Sarah-Jane Nii-Adjei (Christian Aid's Climate Justice Church Programme Manager for Black Majority Churches) and others at this launch event, to find out more about the resource from its creators. Find the recording here at the beginning of December.
