Practicalities of registering Zoom meeting for Baptists
We offered a meeting on Zoom on Wednesday 13 April for those who had registered with us, when we presented and discussed some of the practicalities. The recording of the Zoom presentation can be found here
- it is password-protected and you will need to use the password BTUkraine220413 to access it. [Please also be aware that the recording is 67 minutes long and will therefore take several minutes to download.]
A brief PDF of the PowerPoint presentation from Citizens UK that you may find helpful, can be also be downloaded. If you want to know more about Citizens UK, their website is www.citizensuk.org
Rachel Stone, Baptists Together HR and Safeguarding Team Leader, mentioned in her presentation a number of links to further resources.
During the presentation from Caroline Sanderson, Baptists Together Legal Services Manager, we mentioned a document we have written about property and other legal matters, which can be downloaded from our website.
We were sent a number of questions before or during the meeting and will be putting together an FAQs page on the website shortly.
Many people have kindly said that they are ‘ready to go’ and wish to begin the process of application and matching with named people from Ukraine. If this describes you, please can you email Steve Tinning - but please be patient if he does not immediately respond as there is a great deal to process at present.
Once again, thank you for your compassionate response and for expressing a desire to show hospitality to Ukrainian refugees.
